About him
I'm passionate about getting the most out of life - discovering new horizons such as through travel, adventure, learning, new experiences etc.
I've always been proactive in challenging myself in many aspects of my life and this has kept me young and healthy in mind, body and soul.
I have invested considerably in my personal development recently and feel comfortable with who I am. I'm quite independent when on my own and in relationship generous, pragmatic and very reliable. Being well connected to my heart and feelings is important for me - as is mutual understanding, having a sense of humour, fun and living my life in the moment.
I enjoyed a long career in the Army and more recently in business management. I've spent the past 6 years becoming fully accredited as a psychotherapist and yoga therapist. This has been a deeply enriching and life-changing experience. Combining a part-time job and client practice keeps me really busy and very rewarding.
I love travel, the outdoors and sport ie the beach, the mountains and countryside. I enjoy keeping very fit through running, cycling, yoga, skiing - especially endurance events. I enjoy eating out, dancing, a wide range of music, having new experiences - I started learning to play the piano quite recently!
I'm a very lucky to have 2 wonderful sons and a daughter in their mid-twenties. My work has helped me to to understand people very well. I believe that I'm very trustworthy and loyal with a good sense of humour.

In a relationship I'm looking for friendship, trust, respect, reliability, openness, honesty, sense of humour, sense of fun, positive approach to life, grounded, realistic, work hard & play hard. Someone young in mind and body and in touch with their feelings.
It would be great to meet someone who wants to know me, accept and love me for who I am. Personal chemistry tends to pretty important in relationships and I'm not sure I can capture that in words.
