About him
Friends, colleagues and family would confirm, I hope, that I enjoy good conversation and have an ability to make people laugh. I care for my fellow humans and animals and am supportive of efforts to make the planet a greener and better place to live. Travelled widely internationally for three decades in my work and appreciate the positive aspects of embracing other cultures. I had a book published last year and another is currently with academic referees. Currently working full-time in the Civil Service. I love to catch-up with friends and family, wallow in the weekend newspapers, hunt treasure in bookshops and flea markets, walk along highways and byways, find a bee-loud glade in spring and summer.
Projects for the future - hopefully with a fellow-adventurer - include tackling some long-distance footpaths at home or abroad (maybe coastal) and eventually finding a refuge somewhere a little warmer to residev in the winter. Always open to new ideas for adventures and activities - be they physical or cerebral! Photos taken in July 2022.
