I have an eye for the original, am independent, but loving, endlessly curious and occasionally - intermittently - feisty.
An enthusiastic companion if you are interested in theatre, film, opera, and long, long walks. Love literature, being overseas, outdoors and warm. These last three inevitably connect in my mind, though when the weather is fine here, I'm happy. I'm not very practical, except in the kitchen. Very happy sailing, but unless you have a death wish you wouldn't want me to skipper.
My work was important to me, but now cutting in down and doing more beyond it is a top priority. I love travelling, especially if not for work, though did discover precision tourism through that - how much you can do in just 24 hours in a good city as well as how far your imagination gets stretched on more leisurely journeys.

Someone with the interest and energy to experience new things, visit new places. Warm, left-leaning, open-minded, interested in culture and the world. Has his own opinions, yes, but not to the point of dogmatism. Wit is way more important than wealth, though insolvency would make the new experiences piece a little more tricky. There is nothing like being with someone who can you make you laugh - irresistible.
I don't mind if you don't like all the things that I do, difference brings energy. I'm not especially single-minded, but quite admire people with particular passions. If you don't mind trailing around ancient sites, or the odd gallery, that would be good. If you can do those and other things while telling an engrossing story, what a bonus.
