Hello and welcome to my world. Ok so let's get the awkward stuff out of the way right now.....I'm recovering from breast cancer and all the []that entails but I'm still me and still optimistic for life amd my future!
I'm a confident, intelligent and passionate girl with a mischievous side!
I am a consultant, working with banks around the world and have been lucky enough to work in some beautiful places with interesting and inspiring people.
I have a great life with lots to be happy about and am not at all needy, being independent and self-sufficient but that doesn't prevent me loving to share all those things and times which are special. . . Sunday mornings in bed with the papers, long romantic weekends, laughing and just being with that 'one'! Fun is key to my world and I always want to try new experiences.
I have no baggage or skeletons having never been married and do not have any children, not through choice but because I am unable to. I am happy though, to be blessed with lots of children in my life with 3 godsons, a niece and 2 nephews and an assortment of friends' children and grandchildren.
My loves include being outdoors, cycling when the weather's nice, walks with my dogs, dining out and eating in, all things Italian, a good bottle of wine with great conversation and kisses. I do love a good crossword too especially when there are 2 of us pondering the clues. On the lighter side I also love music and dancing which covers many genres and venues!
My idea of a perfect day would be to pack a picnic, go for a long walk with a leisurely lunch in the woods. Then home for a long bubble bath with a glass of champagne, before dressing up and going out for dinner and on to a jazz club for dancing.

My perfect partner really does need to know when and how to use to, too and two as well as you're and your! I don't demand perfect grammar (mine isn't always 100%) but a little effort and attention to detail is very much appreciated!
Having no baggage myself I am not looking to take on a whole lot of 'unfinished business' or indeed business that is still current (this is you married peoples!!). This does not include children, dogs or elderly parents as I am comfortable with all of those . . . in varying degrees!
I'm constantly surprised by the No of people who contact me that have little time for dates let alone a relationship . . . I just don't get it. I have a busy, demanding job which can take me anywhere but still make time for my personal life and all the efforts a partnership deserves. Time and effort are therefore very much appreciated because I know how difficult it can be sometimes.
