About him
I have worked in Switzerland, the USA and in South Africa for 36 years where I worked as a risk and insurance management consultant. I sang in the Bach Choir, Johannesburg , for over twenty years, and here in London I sing in my local church choir.
When I arrived in South Africa , I was amazed by the wildlife and went to nature reserves at every opportunity. I played field hockey at provincial level,tennis,squash and golf. I became an enthusiastic rugby follower.
I have a daughter in Johannesberg and a son in Durban; between them I have five grandchildren, so far !
I grew up in Forest Row,Sussex, and went to Michael Hall School where my father was a teacher. At Goldsmiths College I qualified as a teacher and also played hockey for London University before emigrating to South Africa. Although I am a church going Christian I am also interested in other faiths and philosophies such as Tao.
I live alone in St John's Wood and would like to befriend a lady who shares similar interests to attend concerts ,the theatre ,museums and galleries.
