One benefit of lockdowns is that my enjoyment of walking and my love of the beautiful countryside where I live has grown even more as a result, although I also love the buzz of working and socialising in London when I can.
So happy to be able to travel again both inside and beyond the UK since there are many more places on my wish list to visit, although I've been fortunate enough in recent years to cruise the Norwegian fjords, to walk the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, to ride on the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Jasper, to chill out with giant tortoises in the Seychelles, to sunbathe on Greek beaches, to ski in the Alps and to drive around Europe in a motorhome.
According to my friends (I'm not making this up) I'm good fun, interesting to talk to, loyal and caring, and although I'm pretty independent and certainly not lonely because I have a great crowd of local friends, it would just be nice to find a special someone to share good times with..........
I love to read, to visit classical sites abroad and historical ones at home but am equally at home cheering on the England rugby or cricket teams over a pint in the pub. To find out more, you know what to do!

I don't think it's realistic to expect every box to be ticked but sharing a sense of humour so that you laugh at the same things is really important for me. Someone who enjoys a bit of history and culture but isn't boring, for whom 70's and 80's music sparks happy memories and dancing feet, who enjoys a good party as much as a cosy night in by the fire and who values friendship and believes you get back what you give in this life.
