I am pragmatic and I am quite content. I keep myself busy and occupied but lockdown has shown me I'd prefer company. Currently I have quite a pleasant sociable and active life but often think how nice it would be to share those little moments and jog along with a like minded romantic companion. Sharing ideas and discussing the world in general. Preference for "remainer" and people who appreciate Europe!
I like walking, I used to play a lot of tennis but now I enjoy watching it! I read mostly novels (though I did read The Silk Roads) and I love a good book to take on holiday. Talking of holidays I am as happy in a cheap atmospheric hotel as I am with a five star luxurious one. I like walking because it's a wonderful way to appreciate your surroundings wherever you are. I'm definitely an optimist (or I wouldn't be on this site!)
I enjoy Art Galleries, Films, the Theatre and current affairs/politics. I belong to a mixed Book Club and an Art Club and I play Bridge. My family are important, so you see there's only one thing missing, perhaps I'm going to be lucky!
