About her
My friends would describe me as a sociable, fun-loving person. I am very loyal and have friendships that go back decades.
I believe I have lived a reasonably interesting life, having travelled across the Sahara Desert in my twenties, lived in Paris and Zimbabwe where I taught for 7 years and now travelling as much as my job will allow. In the last 3 years I have been to South Africa, Cuba, Italy, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and the Maldives so you could say travel is a passion!
Music is my other passion and I love to perform whether in the local pantomime where I always play a witch (Type casting? For you to find out!) to singing in a choir or in the rock band I started many years ago. My music tastes are so eclectic I can go from Mozart to Led Zep in the blink of an eye!
Family is non - negotiable and I love the family banter around the dinner table even though as a Mum I am rarely right!
To keep fit I go dancing every week and also love to go walking in the country or exploring new places.
I am a member of a book club as I love to read and also a culture club which can include such diverse activities as going to the theatre to staggering home after a night of tapas tasting and too much red wine!
Life is such a wonderful experience and every day is precious!

I am looking for someone to share life with and all the amazing experiences that life can offer. I would not be interested in anyone who does not like travelling. There are so many places to visit in the world but I also love to come home.
I would love a partner who enjoys going to the theatre, cinema , restaurants - in other words who enjoys life.
As my family is so important to me I feel that this should also be a priority and am looking for someone to whom family is equally important.
