I am driven by my feelings, I don't rely on what my friends say about me because I know myself. I am of course not without my own faults like everyone else but I can say that generally I'm easy going, love life and my family very much. I am pretty independent emotionally and financially stable but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to share the best things life has to offer with someone really caring and affectionate. I love books, the Arts, languages, my Irish culture, myth and mystery. I can be serious but I love to laugh and have fun also. I love to travel mostly within Europe although I have been further afield and am a considered Francophile so France is often my destination.

Someone who is not scared to love another human being and who is not scared to show love and affection.....a person who doesn't make assumptions about who I am and who is not bound by prescribed social norms. In short I am looking for a very loving, normal guy who will treat me as an intelligent individual, who is attentive, can listen and who does not always feel the need to fix everything but is happy to simply be there when I need him.
