I'm smart, kind, generous but equally I have a no nonsense approach to life in general. I know exactly what I want in life. If you do and you like my profile and narratives, please drop by. I readily admit I am not completely comfortable with the concept of online dating as successful as it may be. As a spontaneous person I find online dating akin to applying for a role on the open job market. Profiles are subjected to meticulous scrutiny and scored, selection criteria matched, boxes ticked, preferences expressed, profiles dismissed or taken to the next stage process, interview level as the case may be. It tends to be a document based exercise, at least in the very first stages. In my opinion, one major downside of the selection process is the lack of opportunity for the interested parties to gauge each other's profile properly. Whether we agree or not online dating is rather impersonal and just a tad overwhelming. Best CV wins! I much prefer an assessment based on inter personal skills, qualifications, compatibility, potential, capacity to deliver, sustainability and, more pertinent, personal traits. I have a definite preference for a face to face situation. In all humility I am a good all rounder but I'm not after any job. My quest is for Number One. The one that will trigger it all, enable us to make each other tick, fire each other up every morning, bring out our romantic side (mine has been rather latent for being on the back burner for sometime), make us value each other's happiness and care for each other every day, not just love each other but be in love with each other, be kind to each other as well as others and, in good and challenging times , be there for each other.
