I consider myself to be a warm, caring, thoughtful person. Extremely serious and correct when necessary but with an irreverent streak. Love to laugh and have fun. Looking to meet someone to share the second chapter of my life with. I am an avid reader and devour both fiction and non fiction. I love music and enjoy both listening and performing in a choir( hiding in the back row!!)
My tastes are pretty eclectic though not keen on heavy metal !

I love being outdoors when the weather's kind but also love curling up in front of the compulsory open fire when it's cold and crisp.
I have a number of things on my 'bucket list' but so much happier sharing with someone else. Now, amicably divorced after a long marriage, I am now looking to find that special person to spend my remaining days on the planet with ! So much more I could write here, but then that would take the fun out of getting to know each other !! But if you like the idea of heading off in a caravan or motorhome, so much the better !
Ever the optimist and occasionally naïve, I hate to have to add the following post script :
I'm not looking for an online relationship, and if you're still married, or newly separated, I'm afraid you're not for me. Going through my own separation and divorce was difficult enough - I don't want to go through yours too !!
I'm pretty traditional, and subscribe to the 'actions speak louder than words' school, So I would hope that if there's an initial spark, we would move to arranging a date sooner rather than later.
