I've been very lucky and have had an interesting life with the white/grey hair to prove it. My jobs, which frequently took me abroad ( to places where most people don't want to go ) were mainly enjoyable and never dull.
I married slightly later in life than the majority - the ripe old age of 58 - it was simply great but alas too short.
I've many friends but now starting a new chapter and know just what an enormous difference having that soulmate makes - even the wine tastes better.

My ideal partner would be somebody who's taken the knocks of life and got up again regardless, and is going to make the best of the next 10 years!
I'm fit for my age and, although I live in London, I enjoy the country I would like somebody who enjoys fresh air and a reasonably active life .. I'm not an intellectual, although professionally qualified, and that "somebody" should be Independently minded and be as happy sitting in a Gastro pub sorting out the world as going to the theatre/opera. Travelling is on my agenda - it won't be in the pointed end of the plane, but no tents either. .
I like slender, athletic women but doesn't every other guy on the planet so I suppose that statement is juvenile!
