About her
I have a compassionate, independent outlook on life. Things rightly or wrongly happen for a reason and learning from life experiences has helped me get through the tough times. Like to laugh and have fun, but have a serious side and am a great listener. I Always look on the positive side of life and give good advice and hugs, apparently.
My favourite thing in life is to walk and explore what is around the next corner, not always a good idea, as can make a 5 mile walk turn into a wet, muddy, 10 mile hike. I do enjoy cooking, and following the last two years of lockdown can boast about my exciting concoctions, not always going to plan!
After being made redundant two years ago I seem to fill my time, and as most retirees say, don’t know how I had time for work! really enjoy my local volunteering roles.
If I ever get time to relax I love to read, anything. Especially on a warm sunny veranda somewhere. Getting into Jazz music and enjoyed some live concerts before the pandemic. Really enjoy travel (Australia & Portugal are a major part of my life) and exploring new cities, but not too keen on museums! I enjoy watching sport, especially rugby.

I would be drawn to a warm, thoughtful, positive person. Honest goes without saying. Who can wear jeans or a suit with equal style. Who is happy to hold my hand and give great hugs. Someone who enjoys keeping busy but also knows how to switch off and relax and enjoy life.
Family and friends are very important to me so would look for that connection.
I enjoy a good glass of wine and good food but have a healthy approach to all things so someone with the same outlook is important.
But mainly someone will want to explore, watch, taste & try what the world has to offer, with me, before it's too late and not let age hold them back.
