About her
I have a passion for travelling which probably began early on in life and was driven initially by a desire to fly south. It lived up to expectations and I spent my twenties studying French and working in London. I would probably have stayed there had it not been for a husband who wished to return to his northern roots. Not quite the way I had planned it.
Despite rather ropey map reading skills, I've managed to find my way south yet again, this time I'm staying put. I like it here in Cheltenham where I'm relatively close to my children and where there is enough to occupy a culture vulture, at least during the week.
I'm on my second career and work continues to fascinate me. It requires me to be rather circumspect, hence the lack of a public photo but more of that when we speak.
Last year I pottered about in India, ate too much in Italy and walked the length and breadth of Manhattan. Not sure where to next maybe South America?
I'm a Pelates convert and go to regular classes, do a couple of ballet classes a week, am quite a keen walker but need a little help on the navigation front. Keeping fit is a high priority.
I like to cook and but am rather anarchic in my approach, it usually involves a wander round the market, looking for some inspiring ingredient or other. Bit like Encounters maybe............................?
