About her
I am a happy, honest and friendly person. I would like to meet someone who wants to travel towards planning and sharing some of life's adventures big and small, near and far, and to enjoy the general rhythm of daily life together, and where there is space and togetherness in the right balance.
Travel is my passion, and I have been very lucky to have been to some fantastic places, still lots more on my list both close to home and far away. Some of my favourite places include, Mexico, Vietnam and New York and in the UK... Worcestershire, Bristol and London and I love the coast and the sound of the sea.
I love good food, anything from picnics to restaurants with stars, I enjoy cooking and entertaining for my friends and family, at the moment it is Middle Eastern food that's mainly on the menu! And when I have time, I bake cakes which I share with the people I love.
I have a busy and varied social life, some of which is planned ahead whilst, other events are spontaneous. I enjoy the theatre and cinema (I like most things; except horror, gore and generally nasty stuff), a walk on the beach (in rain or shine!), putting on a pretty dress and heels and drinking cocktails, dinner out or in! Like art galleries - but I know absolutely nothing about art - a few of my favourite galleries are the V&A ,The Baltic and 'Lates' at the Natural History Museum. Love to dance although don't get as many opportunities these days.
To keep fit and healthy I go to the gym a couple of times a week, am a regular at Park Run and enjoy a leisurely cycle ride when the weather permits!
I enjoy gardening and attempt to grow my own vegetables with varying degrees of success, but seem to feed the caterpillars more regularly then me!
My favourite books include: To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Reader and The Bridges of Madison County.
