About her
"Parisienne" French father, Scottish mother, born in Brazil, moved to the Uk at 20 for Uni, Recently amicably divorced
Married for 28 years. Not a bad one but we drifted apart over the years due to a lack of communication for which we are both to blame.
2 grown up children, a son 25 who lives away and a daughter 21 in her 2nd year at Manchester University.
I have worked part-time as a French Assistant in sixth form but due to cutbacks my contract was not renewed.
It's been a job which gave me great satisfaction seeing young people achieve their goals. At present I am working a few hours a week in retail.
I try to keep myself fit by going to the gym several times a week.
I also have a passion for modern jive ( Ceroc) which I do several times a week as well but would be willing to cut down and find other interests. I am always open to trying new things!
Friends and family describe me as a social butterfly.
My likes are: coffee houses with my girlfriends where we attempt to put the world to right! going to restaurants, wine bars, dancing , cinema and country/ beach walks as long as we stop for a cuppa/ drinkie and possibly a non calorific slice of cake or olives! I enjoy catching up with my children and my two sisters and their families who now also live in England.
As for holidays, I live for sun and will therefore always choose a beach holiday over a skiing one although I do enjoy skiing too!
My dislikes would be: body piercings, tattoos, smoking, long hair, bad personal hygiene, bad manners, foul language, meanness and dishonesty.
As for my style: it's what us French describe as BCBG : Bon Chic, Bon Genre! Which is classic chic with a bit of today's fashion but never over the top!

My ideal match would first of all be someone I feel I have chemistry with, a good communicator, someone who is caring, thoughtful, relatively outgoing, well educated, and well mannered, someone who takes care of his appearance, ambitious but able to manage the work life balance or possibly even retired!
Someone who would have get up and go and who would not be afraid to put me in my place when I'm out of line!( I can be a bit bossy at times and definitely talk too much!)
Someone who can make me laugh, who makes me feel special, wanted. Someone I can look up to or feel equal to, someone who enjoys some of the things I enjoy and do but who also wants to introduce me to the things he enjoys too so that together we can build a sound partnership of mutual understanding,giving and sharing.
No one is perfect in this life and I'm the first to admit to that! But, hopefully with chemistry, good communication, appreciation of each other, honesty, understanding and forgiveness, I think we could make up for a good future life. What do you think? Do you agree?
