About him
My best friend is a cat and so long as I feed him whenever he demands Noah, he won't say a bad word against me. I'm not too sure he appreciates my singing but unlike my late lamented Lab he doesn't actually run away. Yet.
Likes and dislikes? The latter list grows longer the older I get. Only actually HATE chat shows; macho type hard men, (you know who I mean, all square-jawed with impossibly white teeth, unshaven and sneery smirk): dislike all soaps; bad manners; selfishness; unpunctuality; overt triumphalism (whatever happened to winning gracefully?); hypocrites; politicians and politics in general; physical and mental cruelty, particularly against members of the fairer sex; ludicrously light punishment for more and more serious crime; organised religion and attendant acolytes (each to his/her own SkyPixie).
Likes? Too many to list. Love playing chess, table tennis, Times crossword; Spider Solitaire, listening to Classic FM; going to the theatre; eating out; travelling, road trips around Europe being my favourite; I'm non-judgemental and love animals (but the jury's still out on stick insects); I'm overly tactile, late wife driven mad by my touchy feely personae. Sorry, can't help it. So, if being flattered, stroked, touched, kissed, etc is not your thing then please do pass me by; I've had a lifetime depleted of affection so there's a lot of making up to be done!)
I also love most sports but not soccer any more. What a mockery these prima Donna footballers have made of the once wonderful game. But, lady's footie is still well worth the price of admission. All played in great spirit, many smiles, great sportswomanship; what's not to love about it? Ditto, lady's cricket, rugby, netball, hockey, etc., etc. The players are a credit to womankind and put to shame most male players. Well done, girls!
Finally, I make regular donations to several animal rescue charities. So, if your first thought to that is along the lines of 'a fool and his money are easily parted' then we're not singing from the same song sheet.

Wow. That's a big ask. If I were a great catch (which I most certainly am not) I'd feel better inclined to answer. She must be attractive to me (not necessarily pretty in the conventional sense), womanly curves (not fat, not thin): good conversationalist; love travel; very, very tactile; strong but not averse to being consoled in moments of weepiness; feminist is fine but not too determined; not averse to displays of affection; Smoker and drinker okay, but not to excess.
