In the words of the song I'm nothing special .... that probably makes me sound boring or falsely modest. Let me explain ....I don't run away from a challenge or opportunity but do not spend my weekends swimming with sharks, wing walking or running marathons but am able to string together a sentence or even an intelligent conversation and have been known to be mildly amusing on occasion. Friends would (hopefully) describe me as loyal, helpful and sometimes funny. My daughters would and have described me as strong, determined and opinionated... in a good way of course!
I am very happy with my own company and spend time with friends and family but miss having someone special in my life to share the good the bad , the thrills and spills and the sometimes just plain boring and mundane.

I don't need (or want) anyone to be my shadow or me theirs but do want a friend and companion who has the time and space in their life (and ultimately their heart) for a relationship .......... long walks, pub lunches, days out, weekends away ......... trips to Ikea is probably pushing my luck! If you bear a passing resemblance to George Clooney then so be it and I will learn to live with it........ somehow!
