I am lucky to have a profession that I love. I am intelligent, attractive and fun - a rare commodity! I will make time for that special man as life's experiences are so much better shared. I have a deep love of the outdoors experiencing a sense of nourishment from being in beautiful places - sea, river and countryside, and always wish I could spend more time outside. The only ingredient missing is a man who shares the same love for the outdoors. I equally enjoy curling up in front of an open fire watching a great film or drama, reading or listening to music as well as going to the cinema, theatre or visiting an art gallery. I love the conversation that arises from watching an interesting film, drama or from reading a novel or the Sunday papers. I am confident in different settings and enjoy dressing up for dinner as well as being in relaxed clothing for a country walk. However, if I had to choose, I enjoy smaller groups where it is easy to converse and I think there is nothing better than an excellent country pub. Increasingly, I find myself eating very healthily because good health is a priority for me - it doesn't stop me eating cake with a cup of tea though! Walking and kayaking are my outdoor pursuits of choice because of the opportunities it brings to be in beautiful places, spend time with great people and develop fitness. I am a member of the National Trust and really enjoy visiting different properties and gardens. Life is about grabbing opportunities for happiness and laughing wherever possible!

Chemistry is essential and that's impossible to know until you meet someone. My partner would need to be confident, intelligent and comfortable in his own skin as well as at ease with intimacy. I would not thrive with a man who did not prioritise me in his life as I would prioritise him. I want to enjoy my spare time with my partner being in the outdoors, sharing cooking, adventures and just loving being together. There would need to be mutual respect, an ability to compromise and a commitment to eachother's wellbeing. I would never date a smoker.
