So after many years of living overseas I am trying to findmy feet and come to terms with the weather here after the
lands of endless blue skies and warm nights., I must admit I do miss living near the sea my location now has been dictated by having family close.
I am Divorced after being in a faithful marriage for many many years I didn't actually plan to be in this position but here
I am so let's get on with it. Probably not typical of my age group ever the optimist and I enjoy life. I am an independent lady who is hippy in spirit but capable of elegance when required!
Tudor History is a passion and I volunteer for National Trust in a Tudor House which I love. I Published my first novel in 2014 to coincide with the Centenary of WW1, it was inspired by
my grandfather who lost his life at Gallipoli and how the impact of War affected the young lives of my parents in those grim dark
days. What am I looking for? I am a tall lady so
looking for a tall guy who takes care of himself, has a
great sense of humour and is an optimist - no
negativity please ~ good health also a pre-requisite.
Enjoy my music Pink Floyd, Springsteen and Clapton being particular favourites I am a blues lady at heart.
I travel abroad often to friends am well read and aware of world politics. I love my family above all, a few crises in my life which are now dispelled I am comfortable in my own skin; I have no baggage and don't do drama. I need to move forward and find a soul mate/friend whose life is viewed as half full as opposed to half empty who can laugh with me. Not necessarily a 24/7 relationship as I enjoy my freedom and space but weekends would be nice.

He must have a positive outlook on life with a wicked sense of humour, who loves to travel and be an all round good guy with a stable personality. Not be put off by my taste in music - a Blues lady at heart I suppose but did enjoy Handel's Messiah last Christmas so it can be quite eclectic, I cry when I hear Elgar's Nimrod!
