About her
I run a small business, am active in the community, a local councillor ( right of centre )and voted out,. Have been Mayor of my borough, and recently resigned as school governor afterover 40 years.
I have recently acquired a 3 year old German Shepherd who keeps me active, and is my protector. I would like to meet someone who would feel happy to accompany me to social functions, the occasional black tie dinner, trips into the countryside or to the coast, or to join me for a cosy dinner for two, or supper in front of the tv, but not hog the remote all the time.lol.
I enjoy preparing food and entertain family most weeks , I enjoy making meals special and sometimes dressing for dinner at home with wine and candles, for a special occasion, or just to say I care. I miss the companionship of that special person, and can feel lonely in crowded room or family party, without that knowing glance or tender touch that two caring people share.
I enjoy swimming, but seldom go alone, and have recently tried to regain some ballroom dancing skills. I would love to have the opportunity to holiday abroad again and possibly enjoy fulfilling some of the things on my bucket list, which I would never achieve alone , and of course help you achieve those on your list too. . I enjoy driving and have just updated my car , the first one I have chosen and purchased alone.
My only confession is that I am not a historian . I have never had much interest in museums or even stately homes ggand I am not terribly artistic unless it is with needle and thread . I used to make all the family clothes until it became cheeper to buy ready made .
I have been a keen photographer, but that ties in with my radiography qualifications.

My ideal match will be someone who will enjoy sharing the good times and the not so good,
Who will be comfortable to join in family occasions, with children and grandchildren, or just spend time together, chatting over a coffee or glass of wine in the garden, or hot tub.
Someone who would enjoy escorting me to black tie dinners and concerts ,or just a walk in the country with my GSD. Someone who would happily invite me to share their friends and family too, but most of all to be there for each other.
