About him
I didn't know 'Classic FM Dating' was an actual thing until just now. Mind. Blown.
More of a Radio 3 kinda guy these days (am I allowed to write that or will I be censored?), but owe Classic FM quite a bit, as it was how I discovered this genre of music way back in the early 90s when I used to listen to the 'Evening Concert' program every night on my little portable Sony bedside radio. It must've had a profound effect, because I now work for one of Europe's leading chamber orchestras (on the management team).
If someone else were to describe me (the thought of doing this in the first person is hideously immodest), they might say: "James is loyal, compassionate, friendly, infectiously positive in his outlook, but at the same time well-grounded with a sensible streak to balance him out..."
If Classic FM could (in addition to helping me find the path to cultural enlightenment), sort me out with a husband, that would be great. Thanks.

I'd say I wasn't fussy. Lies. All lies.
For me, it's time to settle down. I have a busy but very fulfilling career, comfortable home life, but I'm tired of sharing my Sunday evenings with Ben, Jerry and Poldark (there is definitely room for one more in my life).
Mr Right should be cultured, well-traveled, professional ( did I mention tall, dark, handsome?!), but grounded and unpretentious (being able to switch from discussing last Saturday's Strictly, to talking the talk a v. high brow contemporary opera premiere). He must be a gingerphile. Vivre la ginge. I don't have a 'type' as such, physically, but what is going on between his ears is important. Seeing positives in life, the funny side, and not taking himself too seriously are all star qualities.
