I am warm, happy, giving, and feminine. Confident, good company, affectionate and on good authority, enjoyable to be with.
I lived in Sydney and Hong Kong for ten years, so have friends in Australia, NZ, HK and S Africa whom I enjoy visiting.
Retirement plans had to change, but I did achieve one in 2021 by taking the inaugural Hurtigruten "exploration" voyage from Dover along the fjord coastline of Norway. Back on track, I made it to Australia and at the end of June 2022, returned from a wonderful 6 months where I visited regions I missed before/ revisited them e.g. Tasmania, outer NSW, FNQ, Canberra (and its stunning new arboretum) and New Zealand including Blenheim and a few wineries.
In the UK, like many people, I enjoy going to National Trust properties, the cinema and theatre, and new places to eat and drink. I started learning to play bridge, and keep fit with swimming, basic yoga, some walking, lawn bowling in summer and last year discovered Pickleball for winter. Golf has been attempted but much encouragement would be needed for a return trip there! Unlike sailing, in which I have dabbled.
I also enjoy staying at home - cooking then sitting down to be gripped by a good movie or series on screen, or to play Scrabble....
Career - after one in international telecomms, I retired from my second career, service improvement in healthcare. Now, I'm refocusing for the next chapter in life - wherever it will be.
Would like to meet - a man who has enjoyed success, is outgoing, fit and healthy, has a good sense of humour and is charming and witty. All of which virtues are in the eye of the beholder (but she is quite tolerant!). And in return? Lots of love, warmth, demonstrable cherishment and admiration.
