About her
I am now at a time in my life when I want to take time to enjoy things. I like to travel and get a feel for the local culture. I love eating out and trying new restaurants or just staying in for a cosy night with some good food and wine. Problem is I don't have anyone to share those experiences with. I'm adventurous (maybe not as much as I used to be!) and a bit of an adrenaline junkie (still things on my bucket list to do....) and can be a little audacious from time to time but I'm also caring, loving & sensitive and have a romantic side. I love the gym and have recently discovered a love for weight lifting! I like all the regular things in life - theatre, cinema, literature, concerts - music of all kinds, and much more. I have my favourite artists and authors as we all do but love to try new experiences as I feel there is still so much to see and knowledge to be gained.
If you like walking on the beach in winter, seeing the waves crash against the shore, climbing a (modest) peak to see the view, or soaking up the sun on a a tropical idyll; if you appreciate great art - particularly oriental art ,Turner or Klimt; love the black & white photography of Man Ray and others of his era or simply love to talk (and laugh) for long hours about just anything in the world tell me more about yourself and you never know.....

It's hard to say what an ideal match is as we see other people differently from the way they see themselves. I'm interested in your life experience and want to hear about the things you've achieved, the places you've visited and what makes you the person you are today.
If I had to pin down the characteristics of my ideal man I would say I am looking for someone who embraces life and love with arms wide open - someone who's not afraid to take a chance and likes a little excitement in their life. I'm not asking for love but if that comes along it's a bonus. Age, background and all those other things that people get hung up about are not overly important to me - I want to be comfortable with you as you should be with me - to be able to see the person beyond the job, the education and the history. You should be able to laugh at yourself a well as with me and be able to accept that I am a very strong, independent woman but is also very traditional in many ways, very loving and could be your friend or lover for the rest of your life.
