About him
GSOH I enjoy travelling, gardening, walking, cycling and an active social life. I lead a full life and am involved with a number of volunteer projects. I have six adult children all of whom are settled happily (I hope) and live in the UK, not too close but we are able to see each other from time to time. I am reasonably good looking and have a wide circle of friends who would perhaps describe me as good company with an above average sense of humour. I enjoy classical music,60's pop and jazz. I go to the theatre quite often and enjoy TV for news, sport, drama and documentaries.

My ideal match should either share or positively tolerate my interests, enjoy a wide social life, like travelling and good food and wine and put up with my cooking which I enjoy. She should have a positive outlook on life and enjoy good conversation. I would hope to find someone with aspirations to a long term/permanent relationship and the perfect first date for me would be an easy and spontaneous enjoyment of each other's company which will lead to such a relationship.
