I am a warm, sociable person, quite easy to talk to and a good listener. I like meeting people and trying new things. I would like to think that I have a kind, caring personality and also that I am open and interesting to talk to . I like to know what is happening in the world and particularly about new ideas. I am happy in simple surroundings around a bonfire, camping, roughing it when travelling but also really enjoy dressing up and going to a big party or ball. I adore dancing and am trying out salsa at the moment. I love visiting new places and exploring attractive towns, browsing in markets and finding good cafes.I like old sixties music and more recent music when someone introduces me to it. I still go to festivals and enjoy exploring alternatives of various kinds. I have a good circle of very good friends and I like to know a variety of different kinds of people. It's great to find someone with whom you can have a real discussion or a deeper kind of conversation. If we hit it off, I would love to chat over a drink or dinner, go for a walk in the countryside, listen to a live band or go dancing, visit an art gallery or go to a film. I love travelling and have lived in France and Spain and have travelled in South America.
I have a son at home some of the time and two daughters who have left home and I have a close, happy relationship with them all.
I try to arrange my life so that I am not too tied down and am free to travel. I now feel ready to explore life !

I hope to find a man who enjoys life and who is fun and relaxed. I also hope to find a man who is caring, patient and understanding and who is really willing to listen. I like exploring life and trying new things so it would be great to find someone who is open and sociable and up for trying something new. All of this would make a great friend but for it to be something more of course there needs to be mutual attraction and a special spark. In a relationship it matters to me that it is possible to have deeper conversations and that my partner is interested in what life means or in spiritual or moral questions to some extent. I hope to find a man who is easy-going, accepting and appreciative . Someone who can make me feel loved by being demonstrative. He may be a very successful man but not the type who tries to control and command everyone around him.Tolerance and a sharing, democratic outlook are important. I also hope to find the sort of man who might sing in the bath, dance in the kitchen, be up for charades and generally be playful and not too serious about life. That's not necessary literally of course but it gives you an idea. (Of course I'm not always lively and like quiet times too (especially in the mornings). Life is too short to take everything seriously and even the recession has its good side because people may remember there is more to life than work and money. I'm a bit bohemian and even a bit of a hippie at heart. That is to say, in the end it's love that matters. I know no man will tick all these boxes but if you are open-minded and fairly liberal in outlook, that's the main thing. If it works out, you will find me loving, caring, appreciative, tolerant, fun to be with, interesting and attractive enough I believe. That's what I have to offer to the right man.
