About him
It's not easy to say in a few words about myself, but, I love the arts, theatre, cinema, etc. I like most types of music from classical to modern. I consider myself very open-minded without any hang-ups, and an optimist.
I am definitely a one woman man; I don't have the time or the inclination, to play around. I am hoping that I will meet the right lady who I am certain is out there for me.
I love being by the sea, and I go swimming nearly every day.
I am outgoing, confident, adventurous by nature, also articulate and intelligent. I am loving tactile, sensitive, passionate, loyal, and able to show it. I am looking for somebody who can be my best friend, and my equal.
I believe that a good relationship should also be about giving and sharing, and being a good communicator, which I am, but I am also a good listener. I am young of heart, I consider myself to be a warm, very affectionate and a tactile person. I have good manners, and I am well-spoken, and I enjoy conversation.
I have traveled widely, and I enjoy experiencing different cultures, but preferably it would be nicer with that special person that makes you feel totally alive. We all use different words but when it happens, it is just simply magic.
Unfortunately you can't go to the Tesco's or Sainsbury's and buy a pound of chemistry, two pounds of passion, and so forth. So if and when it happens it's partly down to chemistry, but in truth it's mainly luck. So I hope I get Lucky again.
I shaved of all my hair 2 years ago--scary at first so now I am like Kojak without the lollipop. It's not sunglasses I am wearing on the photo, but with strong light my glasses get dark immediately, but at home or in a building it gets back to normal clear lens.
I have been told by many people that I have a wonderful and a special voice. I have never thought of it in any particular way as it's just the way I speak, so hopefully you can be the judge of that.

A person who is relaxed in themselves, loving, and who finds communication is not a big problem.
Obviously there are many other things that are important, but being able to talk to each other easily is I think one of the important aspects of a successful partnership.
Most of us have an idea of what type of person we are looking for, and the funny thing is that the person you find, and you end up with is generally completely different to what is in your head.
So, it's not all about the looks. It's that person who --- rocks your head, or puts a smile on your face, and I believe that's where the real attraction comes from.
It's all about that person, who is in your thoughts and you remember the last conversation, or the last encounter and leaves with your mind buzzing.
When that happens, that man will be like an Adonis in your eyes, but an Adonis who doesn't do it for you, and doesn't rock your world, will be just another good looking man on the street.
Also I believe that affection, laughter, passion, chemistry and possessing an understanding heart is important. To build up a loving relationship, trust has to come in. I am not shy in showing my affections and I think of myself as a loving, tactile man. Holding hands, kissing, and being passionate in and out of the bedroom. Being a good communicator is also important as without it, it’s hard to make a good connection. To be able to listen and to understand where another person is coming from. Its also about Emotional Intelligence.
I like going to the theatre, cinema, reading, I go swimming most mornings at the local gym, good conversation, going to historical buildings, walking, i like history, travelling, playing Backgammon, cards, reading etc and lot more things. I also love to be by the sea. I find it very relaxing. All these things are always a lot better with that special person when they are in your life. ---- As the saying goes; -------- In the arithmetic of love, 1+1 is everything; 2-1 is nothing.
