About her
I am a kind, warm, intelligent and honest person, but nowadays, loyalty will only be given to someone who proves worthy.
I am a university science graduate and a life-long bookworm. I have always described myself as a truth seeker and have a great need to understand 'The Big Picture'.
As I have had many spiritual experiences in my life, I tend to have many alternative views, but due to my research, I can seriously defend my viewpoint. My most academic achievement was to write and a self publish a book that was picked up and placed in the UK National Archives. There is nothing wishy washy about me.
For about 15 years, I lived and traveled abroad (Europe & Scandinavia mainly) and returned to the UK in 2012. Since then, I have become an IT contractor (returning to my previous profession before I left the UK). I suppose that is the only way to maintain my independence and wanderlust.
I am a divorcee with two grown up sons, but it took 15 years to walk away from a bad marriage. Due to my experiences and educating myself on what happened, I have remained mostly single for the last 15 years.
Today, if I realise that I have made a mistake whilst getting to know someone, I tend to cut my losses very quickly. I have no problems burning bridges with selfish people. Whatever, it would be great to experience being in a grown up relationship with a mature soul who does not need constant drama.
It would be great to meet someone who can converse on a wide range of subjects but more importantly, understand there is more to life than most people realise.
