About her
I've done loads of things including dabbling in interior design. I've also completed a Fine Art Degree followed by an MA to show I can paint. I love colour and find it mood enhancing. Prison interiors needn't be uniformly grey.
My childhood was spent in Donegal where we had a small boat. Hence the smell of turf smoke evokes memories as do fuschia hedges and bog cotton bobbing in the breeze. Because of this I'm attracted to wild spaces, rivers and open vistas such as one finds in Norfolk.
I'm very lucky to have an allotment where I grow amonst other things potatoes. With the Irish connection this makes friends smile.
I write poetry. Am a keen photographer and volunteer at the Americam museum.
Family and friends are hugely important and I'm the proud granny to three wonderful children.
