About her
I am hoping that this is a place I may get to meet like-minded people. I am mature enough and wise enough (I hope...) to know that I need to make efforts and try unconventional ways (yes, virtual encounters are pretty new to me) to seek out that one in a million!
Born and bred in middle-Japan for the first part of my life. Then I have come with my family to spend my happy teenage years in middle-England. I was in London at an university, worked in the City for a bit, took a year out and ended up spending 3 excellent years in Tokyo - yes, it is really like Lost in Translation. Now back and working in west London in a newsroom as broadcast journalist and news producer in world affairs. The line of work suits me and my curious mind. Life is pretty good but it could always get better with someone to share fun with.
If you enjoy the Wire, Mad Men, the Bourne movies, surfing, snowboarding, tennis, golf, some serious martial arts, walk in the park, the News of the World and the Heat as well as the Economist and ft, loooong lunches, good food and other good things in life, I could be your girl. One of my favourite places on earth is Devon and Cornwall by the sea and dreaming of a country life out there some day in the future.... if that sounds like your thing as well, get in touch!

Personally, I believe in that chemistry that is hard to put into words. I think you know when you click. What I find attractive is a big smile, energy, a bit of swagger, kindness, and a healthy look. A man with ideas on how to chill out - they could be anything very simple from cooking dinner and choosing a good movie to planning a random day out of town to a picnic in the country. Someone I can go on surfing and snowboarding trips with would be ideal. I don't think I am asking for much - just a bit of a giggle really.
