I can't believe it's just me that finds this difficult!.. I'm in a good place at the moment and really enjoying life with a great circle of friends and children and new grandchildren that I love to bits. So why am I here you may ask? Well, I just think it would be good to have someone to share the fun with and make things that bit more special. So....the hard bit! I'm very easy-going and I'm told I'm fun to be with. I enjoy socialising and catching up with friends and like all the usual things - going to the theatre, the cinema, art galleries and museums, reading and walking - either locally in the Cotswolds or somewhere more mountainous and further afield . I love to travel, preferably independently (though not alone) and have a long list of places I want to go. Recent trips have been to Croatia and Bosnia, Lithuania, Kenya, Cuba, Mexico and walking the Way of St James to Santiago de Compostella in northern Spain....So, if you want to know more, why not get in touch and I can tell you the rest over a cup of coffee...my age is as stated by the way!

I am seeking someone to share life's journey with, so this would hopefully become a long term relationship. Some shared interests would be good though not essential. More important would be the person's qualities. Honesty, kindness, tolerance and openness are all high on my list and almost equally important would be a good sense of humour - shared laughter is one of lif'e's greatest pleasures. If I had to pick one interest to be shared it would be a love of travel - I've seen quite a bit of the world over the years, enough to tell me that there is a hatful of great places out there that I still haven't been to. I suppose in the end though it all comes down to chemistry! Without the spark there wouldn't be a relationship and equally, without the spark, it just wouldn't be any fun!
