A good (and slightly biased) friend describes me as...
Funny, wise, kind, generous, witty, elegant, occasionally impulsive and endearing.
I'm not sure I quite live up to that description, but I do think I'm warm, friendly, mischievous, very loyal and slightly quirky. I have learned to be independent and enjoy my own space. I am a mix of gentleness and directness. I am intelligent and enjoy intelligence in others. I know about and enjoy quite a lot of artsy things: galleries, theatre. I love words.
I am very good at watching sports. I like walks (preferably circular and with a pub along the way ) and miss having someone to enjoy just going anywhere, somewhere and nowhere with, be it for a walk in the country or a weekend in France. The list of places I love is long .
I am my own boss which means that I can organise my life and am always happy to take time off to do things that I enjoy. I have a close circle of friends and family who are important to me.

You must be someone who laughs - a well developed sense of humour ( probably irreverant) and an enjoyment of life is a must .
You should enjoy being with someone who is spirited and self confident but also quite capable of being vulnerable (sometimes this goes unnoticed). You are likely to be intelligent and well educated. You also need to be comfortable in yourself - nobody needy please !
I don't want a gym fanatic but someone who enjoys sport is fine. I am very happy to watch tennis, cricket or rugby with you.
