About her
I've just decided to sign up, with a lot of encouragement from my two daughters. Will be back soon with more information about myself and why I find myself here today......Okay, see below:
I moved back to England from the west of Ireland, where I'd been for 13 years, 4 years ago. I also lived in Zambia for 21 years, Spain and Mallorca for 5, and have travelled elsewhere. I brought my children up by myself as a working mother. We all survived and enjoy each others' company but are certainly not joined at the hip. I live alone and, although I'm very good at solitude, I would love to have a companion to share mutual interests, such as jaunts to explore the countryside and other towns and cities, theatre, cinema, concerts, to share a meal and to have a laugh. I love to cook for friends. I have an eclectic interest (and collection) of music. I have 3 children. One lives in South Africa and two are in England. They are all adult and independent. And so am I. I do not suffer from boredom - life is too extraordinary.
I 'm lucky to have excellent health. I swim regularly and find it wonderfully envigorating and therapeutic for the body and mind. I get into the sea wherever and whenever possible (but I'm not a midwinter nutter!)
