About him
I hope to meet an attractive, slim, intelligent lady who shares some of my interests, and is looking to develop a long term relationship.
I am now semi retired, but still do a couple of days a week consultance work to keep myself involved. I like to keep myself fit running and swimming. I enjoy the theatre, classical music, ballet, cinema, good food and wine, walking, skiing and most sports.
At weekends I like to relax and chill out - weekend trips to London - shopping, a good show and a good restaurant , long weekend breaks in nice hotels, in this country or abroad. My favourite cities are New York and Venice.
At home I enjoy cooking - with a glass of good wine. I watch Saturday Kitchen to get ideas, and try to create the same result - mixed fortune there I'm afraid - it looks so easy on television!! I also enjoy relaxing with a good book - and a glass of good wine. If I don't fancy cooking or reading, I'll just have a glass of good wine. Please don't get the wrong impression - I'm teetotal from Monday to Friday - I just like good wine!!!
I have a dry sense of humour, like to see the funny side of most situations, and the best in people - even if it leads to the odd disappointment - and like to live life to the full. I am romantic and tactile. Ideally, I would like to meet someone special with the " X " factor - whatever that is. I'm sure we will both know what it is when I meet the right person. In the meantime it's a question of getting to know someone, taking it one step at a time and seeing where it leads!!
I enjoy intelligent conversation - especially when it is funny or downright stupid . I think that mutual support, encouragement, respect, consideration and being a good listener are very important qualities in ensuring the ultimate success of a relationship.

I am looking to meet an attractive, slim, intelligent, confident and free spirited lady who shares some of my interests, can educate me in her interests, and who is looking to develop a long term relationship if everything works out OK. I believe in an" equal " relationship in which both people can help, support and encourage each other to achieve their full potential, and have lots of fun and enjoyment doing it.
It would be nice to have several interests in common, that can becomes shared experiences, but I think it's important to still have your own personal time, so that you are not stepping on each others toes.
