Im told I have a great sense of humour and a kind heart. I love discovering the new but love the traditional.
I’ve travelled extensively in Paris, Venice, Marrakech Australia, Asia and the Caribbean. The remote British Isles still call. I’ve seen the polar bears in the Arctic now I’d love to go to Antarctica to see the penguins.
I love all things food: markets all over the world, and cooking for others gives me the greatest pleasure, I’m happiest in a busy kitchen with friends chatting to me over a glass of wine.
I love the water; walking on a beach, sailing, swimming in the sea, picnics, the countryside where I’ve recently moved to. Endless walks with my two whippets.
Australia, Umbria, Provence, hidden islands in Greece, Berlin, Morocco’s Atlas Mountains and Marrakech, Champagne, smoky Earl Grey tea, Marmite with anything but especially on toast with avocado, Kitkats, rare roast rib of beef, rhubarb, Cosmopolitans, fresh coffee, Sunday papers, Scrabble, old films, new films, opera, ballet, crumpets with too much butter, all things Christmas, art exhibitions, love a man in a pink shirt, a real fire, horses, dogs, seeing animals in the wild, country pubs, seasonal foraging, train journeys across beautiful countries, eating where the locals do abroad.
