I try to maintain a reasonably healthy lifestyle by walking a good deal as well as exercising moderately although I do not possess the discipline or interest to go to the gym regularly.
I like gardening,reading,the theatre and watching sport as well as travelling as often as possible.I am an easy-going sort of person who likes company(probably in small gatherings rather than large events) and although I enjoy my own company it would be nice to share the simple things in life with someone else.
There are probably a whole load of things out there that might be fun with the right person and I am open-minded about taking on new cultural/sporting pursuits with the probable exception of skiing!
I have a reasonably spread out close family which is compact in number.
Althogh nominally retired I do in fact work quite a bit for a local Estate Agent as well as a couple of other part-time activities so life is pleasantly busy but unpressurised.
Like everybody else I have favourite places but my soul probably rests in Edale.
I can't make empty promises or sweeping generalisations and any preferences I exhibit towards members of the opposite sex will be no more than just that.
