About her
Curious to explore new places, new ideas: vibrant bilingual professional in the communications field, feeling much too young to retire and not rich enough to! Educated in both English and French systems, and lived & worked outside UK in various places. My interests are communicating in different languages, travel ( not necessarily " tourism"), music ( singing and playing), theatre, world cinema, the arts, dancing (especially Latin), history, walking, yoga, literature, writing and activism; herb & veg growing, all types of cookery and the spiritual life. I volunteer for the National Trust, doing house and garden tours; also for a theatrical educational trust, putting on events and re-enactments at National Trust properties, for which I also create costumes and make-up (see me in my Edwardian outfit!). I'm a qualified Green Badge Tour guide, love sharing all that and give regular talks on the historical aspects of my varied interests. Curiosity keeps me on my toes and I plan to stay that way. I am looking for someone well and widely educated, including their voice (!), with an intelligent sense of humour and not taking themselves too seriously; someone who is in touch with their feminine side and has nothing to prove; who is comfortable in their own skin. Ideally, this would be someone who is not necessarily interested in living with someone else, but who would enjoy days and evenings out, perhaps weekends away or holidays. I am not comfortable around people who drink much alcohol, although I enjoy a good glass of wine occasionally and couldn't spend time with a smoker... best to be honest- brave enough?
