But what makes us laugh? 'A sense of humour:' you see this mentioned in every profile but do we really find the same things funny? I love Spike Milligan, Peter Cook and Oscar Wilde. And brought a house down that was largely full of people who couldn't speak much English. That's comic genius.
I've deliberately avoided any of the usual dating site guff: unrealistic expectations and boring clichés, because it doesn't matter, if we can rock with laughter then everything follows.
So if there's a bright 'off the wall' guy out there with subversive humour who loves: Some Like It Hot, Airplane, Arthur, Q8, Green Wing, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Yes Minister, Bill Bryson, AA Gill, Dylan Moran, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, Catch 22, Thick of It, John Mortimer, The Eye, any of the Ealing studios output from the fifties with Alistair Sim, anything by Oscar: refreshed with the occasional glug of Pomerol and some appetising fodder. Then what are you waiting for? Let's rock.
