About her
I'm tentatively dipping my toe in the dating waters again after a few years of remaining happily single, prioritising on family, friends, home and work - all that busy stuff that life throws at us. The years seem to be whizzing by however... and my '50 bucket list' growing longer by the day!. Lately I've been thinking it'd be nice to have a special someone to share it all with, a right hand man to encourage me to 'feel the fear & do it anyway '....!
So what about me? Friends have been known to describe me as "calm, thoughtful, capable, quirky, sociable and easygoing". I'm not brimming with confidence but like to think I can brighten up a room!
I'm a working mum with 3 teens who are growing up fast and seem to have busier social lives than me. So, day to day life can be a challenge but somehow I manage to keep all the plates spinning. I always like to have something on the horizon to look forward to, whether a weekend away, theatre, music, catching up with friends - I enjoy recharging my batteries by getting away from the routine and into the great outdoors.
My ideal weekend would include fresh air, exploring new places, lovely food & the obligatory wine, a bit of music and some time to chill. I worked in the airline industry back in the day, and still maintain my wanderlust and sense of adventure, so someone who shares this would be just perfect.
I'm a music lover - it's the soundtrack to most of my life!! I especially enjoy live music - anything goes... current or retro, 80's soul or a bit of rock - ideally shared with good friends, a laid back vibe and lots of laughs.

Mr Right (let's be optimistic here!) would be laid-back and calm, be able to laugh a lot and make me laugh, have his own circle of friends but not mind mine too!
First and foremost a friend.... a partner in crime, the qualities I crave are thoughtfulness, respect, confidence, spontaneity and a sense of adventure.
Due to my busy lifestyle I would really prefer to meet someone fairly close by - that way if either of us have had a tough day and just fancy a quick drink to unwind we don't have to drive half way around the M25 to achieve it!... That said, I take my kids to Reigate in Surrey regularly so the the M25's not a deal-breaker.
