About her
I'm imaginative, creative but also very practical. I'm spontaneous, fun and easy to get to know - I love people but also love to be quiet. I have loads of energy and stamina, and I know my own mind but am also sensitive. I believe in nurturing and working at friendships and not taking my friends or family for granted.
I have no sense of direction - which my children find hilarious, although bizarrely I'm a good map reader.I love to laugh and will tell you about my various sporting disasters if I meet you, which have always ended up in helpless gales of laughter . The ability to laugh at oneself and to laugh with others is part of my character and a trait I find attractive in others.
I love the sea and rivers, hills and mountains, the sunshine and frosty winter weather, or driving through France - (a country, which I feel I have a real affinity with.)and dining out in some lovely restaurants. I have spent a lot of time on business in China, Japan and Vietnam and would like to travel for pleasure to explore these places further.
As travel abroad has been difficult/impossible recently I took the opportunity to travel in our own beautiful countryside. Travelling with friends to beautiful Northumberland and to Wales,Cornwall, Norfolk and Suffolk back. The big benefit to that has been taking my dog on holiday with me, so she has had a brilliant time walking and swimming in new exciting places with new exciting smells and new doggy friends to meet.
However this year I’m off to Australia to visit my sister which I’m really looking forward to and will then work on plans for my next adventures. It would be great then to have a fun travelling companion…..
