I am a retired academic and therapist living in the Midlands with many interests which include many forms of music and especially classical and jazz. I play bridge,do crosswords,read anything and watch rugby and cricket on tv.I also enjoy swimming. I relish lively, intelligent discussions and enjoy good food and a glass (or two) of red wine.I even enjoy cooking and I'm quite good at it.I like gardening,and the arts. I go abroad several times a year,mainly for winter sun in 2008 I spent 8 weeks in New Zealand visiting relatives and living "in situ" .I would like to spend longer periods in warmer climes especially France, but not on my own.
I have a good sense of humour and I am told that I am kind,generous and caring and sometimes too sensitive . I can,however be very practical and logical when necessary. I'm a bit of a romantic on the quiet.
