I am a bloke who is happy with his lot. I have an interesting and absorbing job and am eternally fascinated by the world around me. I love exploring, as long as civilization is round the corner, which means something interesting to view, a local restaurant with interesting local fare, something drinkable and a happy interesting and content companion who shares my love of travel and sunshine and doesn't get hysterical at a substandard bog.
A love of opera ballet and theatre is matched by a deep enjoyment of the outdoors - beaches and gardens in summer, woods in autumn with a minimisation of winter if possible.. I dislike package tours intensely and prefer to muddle my way through on foot using the linguistic smatterings I have picked up on my journey through life. I am an avid reader of newspapers and also like reading non fiction. I have many interests which are best discussed over a drink or coffee.
