About her
I'm starting to get set in my ways and am thinking it might be kinda groovy to meet someone who could rock my world and shake up those ways. I'm independent, intelligent (though prone to blonde moments), creative, understanding and loyal, oh and a sick sense of humour too. Pathologically social at times, in need of my space at others. Upbeat and have lots of time for people and enjoy meeting and getting to know the unique quirks of individuals, but I won't suffer fools. I'm the one who doesn't mind hanging about airports or train stations simply people watching, well except when its freezing and your train has been cancelled indefinitely. That's masochism not a pastime.
I lived on a Scottish Island for 12 years and at times hanker for the open skies and tranquility the dramatic and natural landscape gave me, but I love the buzz of living in the city and all the social and cultural options it offers. I enjoy getting out and about and seeing new places and spending time outdoors, love camping in the summer and get to the smaller festivals when I can. I train twice a week for a fairly unique reason, this is one of my passions and connected to my love of festivals. Screen distractions by way of box-sets, movies and t'internet seem to have all but killed a previous passion for reading, I'd love to rekindle that romance some day. I try to see one or two plays a year and love live music. I procrastinate far more than I should but can jump into action just as easily. Single life led me into a life of weekend hedonism, oops. I've weaned myself off for the most part, you appreciate the madness more when there's less of it.
It'd be ace to find someone to share days out, trips away, nights in and who would be open to the odd wild night too. Oh and I'm a crazy cat lady, but I don't smell of wee.

My ieal mate will have intelligence first and foremost and the ability to think for yourself, I do enjoy a good debate on the evils of capitalism, how history brought us to today and whatever other topics dominate the moment. These conversations would of course be interlaced with midnight logic and mutually delivered inappropriate yet hilarious punctuations. Sense of humour essential, laughter is the glue, the more guffaws the stickier the union. Broadmindedness would likely help any potential suitor come to terms with my brand of humour. Life is an adventure and a sense of spontaneity would be a most valuable attribute, there's a whole world of experiences and places out there to explore.
Someone who's had a life of experiences and is thirsty for more, can hold their own in social situations, isn't the 9-5 type and knows their own mind. This mind will be sound but have a quirkiness and creativeness to it. Oh and facial furniture is always a bonus.
I'm not seeking till death do us part or someone to share the bills with but it would be grand to be cherished, to share time and experiences and laugh our way into something with substance.
