About him
I am a very slightly extrovert chap with a number of interests, some exoteric some less so.
.My family and I moved to the Midlands from Kent in the late 80's and this is now my home unless I am made an offer I cannot refuse!
Divorced sometime ago and that episode is now very much water under the bridge, I carry none of the proverbial "baggage". In fact life has been good recently but without someone special to bounce ideas off to listen too and to encourage..to empathise with and understand
Long-standing interests include music. Rotary was an interest but I have recently resigned (a long story!).I may join another Rotary Club.There are plenty of lady Rotarians.around and I am a past President of my own club .
I am a keen walker and a member of three walking groups. They get me out with my boots on about once per week with a good crowd, walking six to ten mile . It is my main source of physical fitness.
My family is vital to me and with a son and daughter both local. I see them regularly along with my seven year old granddaughter who is a delight ( who says anything else about grandchildren?)
I have plenty of emotional intelligence and that characteristic often thought to be exclusive to ladies............intuition

A lady who is old enough to know better but still smiles at the prospect .If you want an elaboration of that we will have to chat !Also someone who has a present or past career and probably a graduate. .
A sense of humour and ability never to take themselves or life's situations too seriously is important.
She need not have interests identical to my own as I could embrace almost any interests not the same as my own except line dancing and knitting. However if you walk other than with a dog that would be good (I am not against dogs!!).Walking is a very good way to get to know each other. A smart and appropriate dresser... yes.
With that said we would know if the chemistry is there on meeting. I might not fit any of your ideas but we still might click.
