An ex-barrister turned entrepreneur, I spend my days surrounded by London's copious amount of cultural wealth. Increasingly, I feel that I'd love to share the excitement it gives me with someone special. I want that to be you!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my own company. I even need it sometimes. But for the most part, I want to spend my days and nights filled with the pleasures that can only come from a mutually fulfilling relationship. By that I mean good conversation that respects each others' points of view. Laughter. Even silence when that's called for. Comfortable silence. Don't you find the sound of silence can be soothing or mind-blowingly loud depending on where you are and, more importantly, who you're with?
If I had to describe my personality in one word it would be this: Bubbly. Or rather, that is the word that has been used, more than any other, to describe me. There must be something in it.
What do I enjoy doing? Long dinners talking and basking in the atmosphere of a good restaurant. The atmosphere, for me, is actually more important than the food I eat there. Well, within reason, you understand. What else? Exploring new places. I love the grass under my feet - and I love the sand between my toes. Well, what else would you expect from an island girl?
There are a lot of things about me I could say. But I want to say them to you in person. Perhaps while sitting comfortably at a long dinner in an atmospheric restaurant with sand in our toes......

This bit is not easy. How on Earth should I go about describing an 'ideal' person for me? The question assumes I know exactly who I'm looking for. Really? But, let's see.
A gentlemanly nature is important to me. I am a lady, and the overall feminist, 'don't pull my chair out for me I can do it myself thank you very much' thing is so not me. I like being a lady. And I like being treated like one. He should also be a good listener - have you heard that somewhere on another profile too? A popular request, I'm sure.
Spontaneity is also exciting, someone who can take things as they come. Not that 'let's jump out of a plane' kind though. So what do I mean? Say we're on holiday - do we lie on the beach and watch the sunset this evening, or do we take the car and drive into town for a drink? Why don't we see how we feel this evening and decide then. That's the sort of thing. Come to think of it, is that even spontaneity?
Romantics are very welcome! Think candlelight, roses - did I mention I like to be treated like a lady?
But perhaps the most important part for me is a genuine nature. I like to feel secure in the arms of a special someone. I like to feel safe. That can only come about from knowing he's got a genuine heart.
