I suspect that like me you never thought you would be in this position - doing a hard sell of yourself on a dating website, hoping that you will find the right words to resonate with that someone special to share lives joys and tears...? So I intend to face this somewhat scarry position with courage and optimism that this is a fantastic opportunity to hopefully meet someone with shared common values and a spark of attrraction which I believe is called chemistry?

I enjoy life whether that be going out to theatre / cinema /music, enjoying a meal with a glass of red, walking and sharing good conversation.I also am content with time at home reading, cooking, gardening and curling up on the sofa to watch tv.
I love travelling and experiencing new places and cultures whether that be short city breaks or longer holidays. I am especialy fond of Italy where I am fortunate enough to have a friend which allows me to visit when I can.I have recently been to Peru with this friend which was amazing!
Keep active by playing badminton,cycling (especially along the sea front) , tai chi , yoga and walking. Also visit gym and swim on occasions!
Family are important to me and I consider my two daughters to be my greatest achievements - both are now moved away and living happy and successful lives and therefore feel the time is right to look for a special someone to forge a strong and exclusive relationship with, be my soulmate and make me laugh
Work has always been a big part of my life and I have been fortunate to have a job that I love but I have now retired ( just doing the odd agency shift) which allows more time to concentrate on other things that would be far more enjoyable with someone to share it with.So I am looking for someone with the same optimistic view on life, not afraid of showing feelings,confident and respectful of others to go for a coffee ..glass of wine...and see where the conversation takes us ...
