About her
For the past 21 years I have been living full time in SW Turkey mostly near the major tourist resort of Marmaris as I have off and on for nearly 35 years. Six years ago I moved to the small and non-touristy lakeside town of Koycegiz and a few months ago months ago I moved again this time to a nearby village. I now live in a small house at the end of an olive grove which has wonderful views over the lake and surrounding mountains. not quite as practical as before but very inspiring!
I am looking for someone who would appreciate a somewhat unconventional woman. I am educated, intelligent, adventurous, enthusiastic, a good conversationalist, and I would call myself caring, loving, romantic, tactile, curious, kind and considerate of others and I have a good sense of humour. I love laughing, talking, walking my dog, reading both books and newspapers, driving a convertible car (I really will get one some day soon! ), travelling, dancing, playing cards, watching films and television especially quality drama tv series like Mad Men, The Sopranos and more recently Succession.
I consider myself adaptable having worked in England as a primary school teacher and also as a teacher of children with severe learning difficulties as well as other jobs not in teaching. In Turkey I have had various jobs ranging from working as a nanny in a rich Turkish (mafia) household to working as a part-time holiday rep, as well as tutoring and teaching English in various cities in western Turkey. For the last 6 years I have been helping the 3 young children of a Turkish/Norwegian couple learn English and now I am also teaching 3 older boys (10-18) of another family learn English plus I have 2 more teenage students. Even with this ongoing work I would be quite happy to spend some of the year in England if that suited a new partner.
I don't look my age, I am generally healthy and reasonably fit so please contact me if you think we could have a better life together for long or short periods than remaining as we are now.

I enjoy living on my own but lately I am missing doing things with a special partner so I'm hoping to find a man who would like to join and share with me for at least part of the year some of the activities I already enjoy and who finds the humour in everyday life so we can laugh together. I hope he likes talking (and listening) as much as I do and would like him to want to share with me some of his experiences and knowledge as I would want to do with him.
I'm looking for a kind, clever and funny man who would like to join me in this beautiful part of the world, maybe all the time or maybe for some of the year. I would like to show him some of the less visited parts of Turkey and share with him the magical moments------walking along a moonlit beach, a picnic in the forest, a simple meal by the lake----all things I can do now with friends but so much better with someone special.
