About her
Why me? I still enjoy the ridiculous and the quirky and recognise that I havent got life quite sorted yet BUT would like to... willing and wanting to learn from the past and grow a happier future.
My ideal? ... a real friend who laughs at the quirks of life, a caring but challenging companion who wants to be out n about but not always frantic busy - likes to start the day with coffee and read and contemplation.
Yes it's scary to put myself out there but in a way reassuring to realise how many of us there are with similar issues who, like me, want to find a way to break free from the rut, find new friends and interests and enjoy possibilities.
I was far too focused on work in the past, priorities have changed. Spare time has to be enjoyed and I love long walks, people watching, exploring places and talking to others. I don't want to be stuck in the rut of routine but building connections and developing friendships is important too. With three children, the youngest is now over 30, I enjoy family activities but am happy they have spread their wings.
Playing bridge is a long term hobby which I enjoy. Similarly gardening - doing and visiting are both satisfying.
Want to also take time to travel and explore other places.
At the end of the day a well deserved glass of wine is welcome, ideally with music and preferably in the sunshine!
