I am a naturally positive, energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys new experiences as well as simple pleasures! Although I live in the country I also value any time spent in the city, home and abroad. I am fortunate enough to have run my own business, successfully and with a great mate, for the past twenty years. Although it has been hard work it is also lots of fun! With work, family and friends my life is busy and rewarding but it would be great to have my own special person.
I have four children, a stepson, all grown up, plus two grandaughters to whom I am known as 'crazy grandma', all of whom I am very close to and whose company is always a delight and great fun. However, we also enjoy our very busy and independent lives. My late husband died 12 years ago and will always be missed, I am now absolutely fine.
My interests are always expanding and I love a new challenge. I enjoy a large spectrum of pursuits from walking, cycling, skiing, diving, sailing to cinema, theatre, art galleries and sewing! I love to have a house full and cooking is one of my great pleasures, along with good wine and good company. My children were all born in different countries and I have been lucky enough to live all over the world and still travel whenever the opportunity arises. In the last couple of years I have been to Africa twice, skiing in Italy several times as well as soaking up the sun and culture in Morocco, walking in Menorca and several city breaks plus weekends away in the UK.
