About her
How utterly terrifying this is! I once lived in Los Angeles and worked for a film company. The producer told me that if a movie plot couldn't be described in two minutes, it was too long. So here goes:
American in Paris,divorced, no children, has an apartment in Le Marais and lots of friends but wants someone in her life to flirt with, have dinner with, go to plays and movies with. A confidant. A sense of humor required. Knowledge of current events mandatory. Someone who reads, someone who will enjoy lingering over a long lunch and a bottle of wine.
She is happy near water...oceans are terrific and used to love sailing but hasn't had the chance for awhile.. great times on the American Atlantic coast, the Caribbean and Lake Geneva. She rides a bike every day. Used to swim every day but hasn't found a pool yet in Paris. Loves to swim. Never goes anywhere without tossing a bathing suit in a suitcase. She loves to read and not reading a newspaper every day would be like not brushing her teeth. She likes novels and nonfiction.
She worked in radio (on the air, a news writer and producer of documentaries) in Rome for la Radio Vaticana. The only Protestant working at the Vatican! She's also worked in film in L.A., and television in Rome and Toronto. She has another entirely different profession which gets far too much attention so this will be divulged upon meeting face to face. It is her great love and no, she is not a blacksmith or orchestra conductor. Better!
Her first year in Paris has involved much drama about learning French. It is amazing and hilarious but she is making bold attempts. Watches French TV, mostly detective series and old movies, and takes notes. She has lived in Rome, London, Toronto, Geneva, Manhattan and Miami. Toss in shorter postings in Cyprus and Portugal and the Dominican Republic. .
Some people want a partner. She wants adventure. She wants an accomplice.
The music reaches a crescendo, the last scene is.......the ending might be up to you.....

Sense of humor is absolutely a priority for me. A willingness to try new things whether it's a new restaurant or spending the weekend at a new place.
A liberal world view , a sense of fairness. Someone who values honesty. Good manners. Sounds old fashioned but I appreciate them and notice when they are missing. Someone who reads, who speaks well. Generosity of spirit. A sense of FUN.
